Kamila Manzueta, more affectionately known as Kami, is originally from Miami, Florida. Currently residing in New York City, she is 21 years old and a first-year graduate student of Latin American and Caribbean Studies at Columbia University. As a musician, she was a piano prodigy, becoming a concert pianist at age 9, and continuing her career throughout high school at the Miami Conservatory of Music while simultaneously being trained for classical voice. She was the founder of HEARTbeats, FIU's first and only a cappella group composed of non-music majors. A foreign service officer in training, she specializes in Latin fusion music, poetry, and languages.
